This course titled " Communication skills and Medical Ethics" is taught in first year first semester of Diploma in Clinical medicine. It equips students with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to communicate effectively with patients, care givers and the community professionally. The course has the following 3 main units:

  • Unit1: Communication skills;
  • Unit 2: Study Skills;
  • Unit 3; Medical ethics and Professional practice.

AIM

Equip students with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to communicate effectively with patients, care givers and the community professionally
